Every year, for just three weeks of the year, while they are in bloom, I harvest Wild Rose petals by hand. While I pick the beautiful, fragrant blossoms, my kids climb trees, make forts and pick their own wildflowers. Sometimes they pick a few Rose petals for me.  My husband also accompanies me at times and we harvest the petals side by side.
 
Wild Rose is known to be an anti-inflammatory that brightens the skin. I create Rose Water that I use to make a lye solution. Witheven  more Wild Rose petals, I infuse the organic oil. Together, the tea and infused oil fill each soap bar with the unique properties of Wild Roses. Wild Roses only bloom for a few weeks of each year, so I consider this one of my most special soap bars. Each Wild Rose Soap Bar has wild rose petals sprinkled onto the surface.
